Subject: Information to customers and suppliers issued by Ing. POLIN E C. S.p.A. pursuant to Article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679

This information is prepared and issued pursuant to Article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the European Regulation), which introduced significant regulatory changes.

Therefore, this notice updates and replaces any previous versions issued before now.

That said, please note that:

  1. As a result of establishing the commercial relationship and during its course, our company will collect and process your personal data.
  2. for clarity, we hereby specify the following definitions given by the aforementioned European Regulation:

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); a natural person is someone who can be identifiable, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more elements specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity;

Processing: any operation or set of operations performed with or without the aid of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, comparison or interconnection alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

Pursuant to Article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679, therefore

We inform you

that the collection and processing of your personal data will be carried out by the undersigned company in accordance with the following:

  1. purpose: the data will be processed for the proper fulfilment of accounting, tax, commercial and technical obligations and for all business activities generally related to the existing relationship.
  2. advertising purposes: the data may also be used, subject to your specific and explicit consent, for sending advertising material/communications by post, e-mail, fax, SMS and similar means; after giving your consent, you have the right to object, at any time and without charge, to the processing of your data for this purpose.
  3. legal basis: the legal basis for the processing may be the consent provided for specific purposes or, depending on the case, the need to execute a contract or pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
  4. methods: the data will be processed using both paper and electronic/informatic/telematic tools/media, in full compliance with the law, according to principles of lawfulness and fairness and in a way that protects your privacy.
  5. optional provision: providing data is optional and not mandatory.
  6. consequences of refusal: refusal to provide data or opposition to their processing may result in the impossibility to continue certain commercial or other relationships with our company; refusal to allow the use of data for sending promotional material/communications will not have any consequences on existing or future relationships.
  7. subjects or categories of subjects (recipients) to whom the data may be communicated or disclosed: data may be communicated to third parties only to fulfil legal or contractual obligations. Under no circumstances will the data be disseminated.
  8. persons authorised to process the data: the data will be processed exclusively by company personnel in the administrative and commercial departments, who are specifically authorised to do so.
  9. automated decision-making processes (e.g. profiling): no automated decision-making processes are implemented.
  10. rights of the data subject: you enjoy all the rights set forth by the European Regulation, such as the right to request access to your personal data and its correction, deletion, limitation of processing, the right to object to their processing, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.
  11. transfers to third countries: any transfers of personal data to a third country outside the European Union or to an international organisation will be made on the basis of an adequacy decision by the Commission or, in the case of transfers referred to in Articles 46, 47 or 49, second paragraph, of the European Regulation, on the basis of appropriate and suitable safeguards;
  12. data retention period: the data will be retained for the period strictly necessary to respond to requests from the data subject or in accordance with the provisions of current legislation or any contractual clauses.
  13. data controller: the data controller is Ing. POLIN E C. S.p.A., with registered office in Verona (VR), Viale dell'Industria n. 9, in the person of its pro tempore legal representative.
  14. data protection officer: the data protection officer is Dr Juri Torreggiani, with offices in Reggio Emilia, Via Piccard n. 16/G, tel. 0522/30.11.69, fax 0522/38.79.96: any requests for clarification or information may be addressed to this officer.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.

 

These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the website.
